Junior's Teach-in Pictures
12th May 2001
Twelve junior anglers attended the first of this year's teach-ins at
Goodwins Pool on a very warm Saturday morning. The warm weather had brought many
of the fish to the surface and they had little interest in feeding. Fortunately,
most of the anglers that attended caught something with the best catch of the
day being a 2½lb Tench that was caught by Mark Lawton of Biddulph.
Many thanks to Bernie Chappel, Del Stalburg and Colin French for coming along and helping the juniors.

Kelsey Link, last year's under 12's champion practices pole fishing.
David Hulse, accompanied by his mum, used the teach-in as a start to
his angling career. He finished the morning having caught two perch.
More juniors enjoying the morning sunshine.
Unfortunately, the fish seemed to be enjoying the sun too!
