The Matchman of the Year Series
The Society runs a series of twelve championship matches between June and the
end of October to decide the Society's Matchman of the Year.
An anglers' 10 best results from the 12 matches count towards their final points
total. Points are awarded on the basis of 10 for a win, 9 for second down to one
for 10th. Anglers not weighing in or finishing lower than 10th score no points.

Tuesday Evening Summer League
This series is held during June and July. Starting in 2004 the venues
were switched so that 3 matches are fished at Goodwins Pool, 2 matches on the
Trent & Mersey Canal and 3 matches on the Macclesfield Canal. This series is open to
club members only.

Fund Raising Open Matches
A series of matches are held in the spring and summer. These matches are used to raise funds for the
club and are open to non-members.
